A pedestrian died after he was hit by a lorry on the A14 near Newmarket last night.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway near Junction 37 at around 11pm on Monday, January 28.
Suffolk police were called to reports of a serious collision involving a lorry and a male pedestrian walking on the carriageway.
Police have confirmed a man in his thirties died at the scene.
The eastbound carriageway was closed overnight to allow an investigation into the collision to take place. The road reopened at just before 7 o'clock.
