A King's Lynn Town fan who sent a series of offensive tweets to a player has been banned from attending future home matches by the non-league club.
The messages targeted Linnets player Kieran Shipp and were posted after they lost to Hitchin Town last week.
It's thought that one of the tweets referenced missing Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala, and King's Lynn have described the posts as "vile".
As well as the ban, the person will meet up with Mr Shipp to apologise and must also go on a racism awareness course.
"King's Lynn Town Football Club condemns all forms of abuse and will act quickly to punish anybody who is responsible for this type of grossly offensive behaviour," a statement read.
"The person responsible has been banned from all matches at The Walks for an indefinite period, which will be lifted at the club's discretion."
