The family of a man who was stabbed to death in Northampton have paid tribute to him - saying they don't "know how we will live without him".
Reece Ottaway, from Daventry, died in the early hours of Friday February 1st after an incident at Cordwainer House in Byfield Road.
A post mortem found that the 23-year-old died as a result of a stab wound.
Five people have appeared in court charged with his murder.
Reece's family said he was "a son, a brother, a nephew, a grandson and was also soon to be an uncle" as well as "a friend to many, many people".
"What has happened to Reece will haunt us for the rest of our lives; we do not know how we will live without him.
The family thanked "everyone who has expressed sympathy" for their "extraordinary support".
"We would like to thank the police for their hard work," they said.
"We know it has been very demanding physically and emotionally, and our thoughts go out to those that witnessed the aftermath of Reece’s death.
"If you have any information that could help the police, please come forward. Nobody deserves what happened to Reece.”
