Firefighters called to Bulwick village shop blaze

Firefighters tackled the fire at the Bulwick village shop Credit: Northamptonshire Police

On 12 February, a village store in Bulwick, near Weldon, caught fire. The house's thatched roof went up in flames and Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene.

At one point, more than 30 firefighters were at the shop. The thatched roof has been completely destroyed.

Neighbouring houses were evacuated. It's not thought anyone was hurt.
