Luton Town set a new club record of 20 league games unbeaten with a 2-1 win at Fleetwood Town to maintain their position at the top of the League One table.
George Moncur's free-kick just before half-time gave the Hatters the lead, before Pelly Ruddock added a second just minutes after the restart.
A late goal from Paddy Madden ensured it was a nerve-racking finale, but Luton held on to make history.
Perhaps even more importantly, the result meant that the Hatters now have an eleven point cushion over third-placed Portsmouth following their 3-3 draw at Southend.
Elsewhere, Norwich City returned to the Championship summit with a classy 4-0 win over struggling Bolton Wanderers.
The Canaries blew the home side away in a brilliant first-half, with Teemu Pukki, Marco Stiepermann and Emi Buendía all getting on the scoresheet.
Pukki then got a second after the break to take his tally for the season to 23 league goals.
The only negative was that the Canaries missed yet another penalty, with Kenny McLean becoming the latest to spur an opportunity from the spot, meaning that they've now failed to convert six of their seven attempts this season.
Bolton's heavy defeat was good news for Ipswich Town who earned a spirited draw against Stoke City with a last-minute goal from on-loan striker Will Keane.
Stoke had led through James McClean's opener, but Keane headed in Alan Judge's cross in injury time to make the final score 1-1 at Portman Road.
