Pupils at Kislingbury Primary School near Northampton have been learning about the NSPCC's Speak Out Stay Safe campaign.
Northampton Saints centre Fraser Dingwall came along to help drive home the message.
The campaign covers all kinds of abuse children may suffer and aims to give them the confidence to talk to a trusted adult or the charity.
Our increasingly complex society means children may now have to contend with abuse online or by mobile as well as in person.
Special assemblies were tailored for different age groups. Nearly 24,000 children took part them in the county last year.
For the schools it's about letting children know that they are able to help themselves if they're suffering abuse.
Hopefully most children will never need Childline. But these youngsters now know they can ring it 24/7 365 days a year if they want to.
