A Norfolk village shop has been named national off-licence of the year. Kenninghall Stores and Post Office beat stores from across Britain to win at the 2019 Convenience Store Awards.

The store is ran by couple Karen and Mike Humphreys. They pride themselves on selling a range of local tipples. Kenninghall sells around 140 gins, 20 of which are from Norfolk.

The Humphrey's were up against two other finalists at the Convenience Store Awards - Hackney's Spar Eat 17 and Spar Mulkerns in Newry, Northern Ireland. Kenninghall was also finalists in the Best Small Store category.

The store also sells local produce such as pies and cheeses.
