A neglected area of Norwich used by prostitutes and drug dealers is being turned into an area for families.

Thousands of pounds has been spent transforming Old Library Wood into a safe space for the local community.

It includes carved wooden sculptures, cabinets where books can be swapped and benches to encourage people to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

It has been made possible by dozens of local volunteers and the a chainsaw sculptor Tim Atkins.

The area used to be littered with condoms and syringes and knives were even found when the woods were cleared.
