A 23-year-old man from Ipswich has been jailed for more than 10 years for a robbery and a string of burglaries across Suffolk.
Freddie Cook, of Ashcroft Road, Ipswich, pleaded guilty to robbery at a home in Hepworth on Tuesday 15 January.
The victim was left with numerous injuries including a fractured wrist.
Cook was identified by forensic analysis and charged with robbery.
He went on to admit 20 further offences – including burglaries, an attempted robbery, theft and aggravated vehicle taking, all carried out between April 2018 and January 2019.
Detective Constable Barry Simpson is from the Operation Converter TIC (Taken into Consideration) Unit which encourages offenders to admit their crimes.
He said: "Cook chose to engage with the TIC Unit in order to serve his impending prison sentence knowing that he would not have any crimes outstanding against him upon his release.
"This ensures that he can start his life with a clean slate and should provide every incentive to steer clear of committing crime in the future."
