Firefighters in Cambridgeshire managed to rescue a cow which was stuck in deep mud by a river bank in Thorney near Peterborough.
It took crews around three hours to winch the cow free on Sunday.
Specialist teams had to call on the help of a local farmer and his teleporter farm machinery to hoist the animal from the mud.
It's believed that the cow had gone down to the river and got into difficulty.
The calf was checked over by a vet and and has now been safely returned to the farmer.
