Former Northamptonshire cricketer Con de Lange has died aged 38.
De Lange was taken ill while on international duty with Scotland in 2017 and was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour.
He played for Northants for two seasons in 2012 and 2013.
A statement from Cricket Scotland read: "Con de Lange took ill while away on Scotland duty at the end of 2017.
"It was later diagnosed that Con had a brain tumour but, as is typical of Con, he fought hard against this awful disease for 16 months."
His former teammates at Northants have been paying tribute to him, including captain Alex Wakely who tweeted: "One of the greatest blokes you will ever meet. Never forgotten."
