Norwich City are on the brink of promotion to the Premier League after Brentford did them a huge favour by beating third-placed Leeds United on Saturday evening.
The Canaries had drawn 2-2 at Stoke City earlier in the day, meaning Leeds could have closed the gap to three points if they'd won at Griffin Park.
However, goals from Neal Maupay and former Norwich winger Sergi Canós ensured Leeds went down to a 2-0 defeat and now trail the Canaries by six points with just two games remaining.
Crucially, Norwich also have a far superior goal difference meaning that they could even afford to lose their last two games and potentially still go up.
However, a point at home to Blackburn Rovers next Saturday will definitely secure a place in the Premier League for Daniel Farke's side next season.
Sheffield United also look on course to gain automatic promotion following their 3-0 victory at Hull City.
