Rt Revd Graham Usher named new Bishop of Norwich

The Rt Revd Graham Usher has been announced as the 72nd Bishop of Norwich.

Bishop Graham, 48, is currently the Bishop of Dudley.

Prior to this he was Rector of Hexham in Northumberland. He has also spent time living and working in Ghana.

Bishop Graham will visit a number of locations within the Diocese this afternoon (May 3), including a local housing trust and a primary school garden. This will be followed by a special Evensong at Norwich Cathedral.

Bishop Graham will be formally enthroned as Bishop of Norwich at Norwich Cathedral in late autumn.

Bishop Graham is interested in ecology. He is also a keen beekeeper and regularly tweets @bishopdudley.
