The stadium announcer for Northampton Saints has hung up his microphone after 37 years in the job.
Geoff Allen has been at Franklin's Gardens for more than half a century, starting out as a player in 1963.

"I think my knowledge of the game, having been associated with the rugby for so long in my life has stood me in good stead. And I've always got a nice little sense of humour that I bring to the occasion because we're in the entertainment business, it's supposed to be fun to come here without ever detracting from what the players are doing which is the important thing for them."
"He's spent such a large part of his life being a fixture here at Franklin's Gardens and so his knowledge, his intimate relationship with the club and then when he's commentating the combination of precise timing, brilliant timing and dry sense of humour really works... absolute legend, we are very, very sad to see him go."
