Ipswich Town are to rename one of the hospitality suites at Portman Road after their legendary former player Kevin Beattie.
'The Beat', as he was affectionately known by Town fans, died of a suspected heart attack in September at the age of 64.
In several polls, he was voted as the club's greatest ever player.
As a tribute, Ipswich have confirmed that their 'Legends' suite, which hosts up to 350 fans on a matchday, will be known as 'Beattie's' from the start of next season.
There will be a formal unveiling of the suite before Town's League One campaign gets underway, where former and current Ipswich players will be in attendance.
The club are also in discussions about staging a fundraising event to help pay for a statue of Beattie which will be erected outside Portman Road.
