Fulbourn Primary School near Cambridge is having to close early once a week to help save costs.
Head teacher Fiona Thorpe says it's the only way they can make ends meet without having to cut staffing levels.
From September the school will be closing at 1.30pm not 3.30pm on Wednesdays.
