A group of school children in Suffolk are pledging to help clean up the dirty air we breathe- on this Clean Air Day.
The local council have been handing out leaflets on the school run at Sandlings Primary in Woodbridge to highlight the impact air pollution has and to encourage more people to leave their cars at home.
Pupils have also been getting in on the act by pledging to walk and cycle more and to pass on their knowledge to their parents.
Road traffic in the UK is now ten times higher than it was 70 years ago.
Every year, air pollution contributes to 40,000 deaths and related health problems cost the UK economy £20 billion annually
