Hundreds of insects created a bit of a buzz around the passing out parade for Essex police force's new recruits.

The event marked the largest intake of new officers ever for Essex Police as they welcomed 73 new officers to the force.

But they were only part way through the ceremony in Chelmsford when they had to get to work - the swarm of bees around a chair was so big that the new trainees has to cordon off the area to keep the public safe.
