On-board 'Flybrary' to encourage children to read on planes

A book-lending service for children on planes, nicknamed a ‘flybrary’, has been launched at Luton Airport.

EasyJet say they're hoping to give tens of thousands of youngsters access to books on their flights.

The scheme was launched by model and presenter Katie Piper and illustrator Rob Biddulph. They read stories to students from Ramridge Primary School in Luton.
