Witham MP Priti Patel has been appointed as Home Secretary in Boris Johnson's new-look cabinet.
The move marks a return to the frontbenchers for Ms Patel who resigned as International Development Secretary in 2017 after it emerged she attended a series of unauthorised meetings with Israeli officials.
Ms Patel replaces Sajid Javid who has become the new chancellor.
Meanwhile, South Northamptonshire MP Andrea Leadsom has also made a comeback to the cabinet as Business Secretary while South West Norfolk MP Liz Truss has been handed the role of International Trade Secretary.
North East Cambridgeshire MP Stephen Barclay and West Suffolk MP Matt Hancock will remain as Brexit Secretary and Health Secretary respectively.
