Peterborough United have sold striker Matty Godden to League One rivals Coventry City for an undisclosed fee.

Posh bought the 28-year-old from Stevenage last summer and he went on to score 18 goals in all competitions.

Godden has signed a three-year contract with Coventry.

He was left out of the Posh squad for their opening day loss to Fleetwood Town and has dropped down the pecking order following the arrival of club-record signing Mo Eisa from Bristol City.
