Luton and Stansted airports have the highest drop off charges in the UK according to research from the RAC.

People dropping off at Luton pay £4 for a 13 minute drop off, and you pay the same for just 10 minutes at Stansted.

Stansted and Luton were also found to have the highest short-term parking charges overall, with motorists being asked to pay £8 for half an hour.

While flying off on holiday is one of the most exciting times of the year, those dropping off or collecting friends or family are often left wincing at the prices charged by the UK's busiest airports for the privilege.
