Tributes to elderly couple killed in Norfolk road crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after an couple in their 70s were killed in a road crash near Thetford in Norfolk.

Andrew and Jean Crawford were parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.

Their family said they would be "sadly missed by all that knew them.”

Their Kia car crashed at the A1075 junction with Wretham Road in Hockham at about 1.15pm on Wednesday 28 August.

Mr Crawford was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife was taken to hospital by ambulance and later pronounced dead.

The driver of the other car, a blue Peugeot 206, a woman in her 30s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with serious internal injuries.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, but has since reopened.

Norfolk Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage.
