Norwich City Sporting Director Stuart Webber has signed a new three-year deal with the club.
Webber joined the Canaries from Huddersfield Town in 2017 and has already made a huge impact at Carrow Road.
The 35-year-old has played a leading role in transforming Norwich's fortunes, appointing Head Coach Daniel Farke and also revamping the club's academy.
His faith in Farke was rewarded last season when the Canaries defied the odds to win the Championship title, while he he also slashed the wage bill considerably but still managed to strengthen the squad with some shrewd business in the transfer market.
Webber's work in Norfolk has seen him linked with both Southampton and Manchester United in the past, but he has now committed his future to Norwich until at least the summer of 2022.
Joint Majority Shareholders Delia Smith and Michael Wynn Jones said: "The contract for Stuart was something we were extremely keen to finalise.
"We’re absolutely thrilled at the job that Stuart has done, working with Ben [Kensell] and Zoe [Ward] on the Executive Committee.
“It has been an immense team effort from Daniel [Farke], the players and staff so far. Stuart has been amazing in being the real driving force behind our Club philosophy and vision.”
Webber added: "I’m obviously thrilled to sign. I’m very grateful to be in this position at what is a special club.
“It’s important we don’t stand still. We must now continue to strive to improve and better ourselves in all areas. Whether we’re successful or not, win or lose, we must continue to be together.”
