"Our two boys will never be replaced": families of Colchester triple murder victims pay tribute

The families of three men killed in Colchester on 6 October have paid tribute to their loved ones.

Danny Gibson, 35, his brother Jason Gibson, 31, and Richard Booth, 35, were found dead on 6 October.

32-year-old Tom Saunders from Colchester was charged with three counts of murder and is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 9 October.

Relatives of Richard Booth, known as Rik, have said he was a wonderful son, brother and friend.

On 8 October, Saunders appeared at Colchester Magistrate's Court. The defendant spat towards the public gallery from behind the reinforced glass of the dock.

He was not asked for pleas and no application for bail was made. Magistrates remanded him in custody to appear before Chelmsford Crown Court on 9 October.
