Luton Town's plan to build a new football stadium could end up being contested in the High Court.

The owners of the Mall, Capital and Regional, have applied for a judicial review on the decision to grant planning permission for Newlands Park.

They've been long-standing opponents of the new retail park, which would be a key part of financing the new stadium at Power Court.

The club say this action goes against the interests of the community, of which over 10,000 supported their applications in writing at the committee meeting earlier this year.
