Boy arrested after alleyway stabbing in Norwich

A teenager has been taken to hospital after he was stabbed near a supermarket in Norwich.

The incident happened yesterday at around 5.40pm in an alleyway near Aldi in Larkman Lane.

After sustaining a stab wound to his back, he was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. He has since been discharged.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and assault. He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where he remains in custody.

The victim and suspects are believed to be known to each other.

A police cordon was put in place at the scene but has since been removed.
