Sir Norman Lamb says the losses felt by the Liberal Democrats in the General Election have been in the making for 3 years.
He blames the 'stop Brexit' policy, which he says he fundamentally disagreed with.
Sir Norman stood down at this election and says he's glad to be out of politics and can now be of more value to the issues he cares about outside parliament.
The Liberal Democrats lost the North Norfolk seat which he had previously held.
