Couples due to get married at a Norfolk wedding venue say they're heartbroken at its sudden closure.
Lenwade House Hotel, off Fakenham Road, broke the news to customers in an email, saying that the company had "experienced great difficulty trading in this difficult economic climate and now finds that it is unable to pay all of its debts".
Staff have also been left devastated, with some claiming that wages over Christmas hadn't been paid.
Lloyd Cossey and Holly Norman, from Ingham, were due to celebrate their wedding at Lenwade House in July.
The couple had already had to reclaim money from a honeymoon they had booked with collapsed travel firm Thomas Cook.
Now, they will try to recoup the £500 deposit paid to Lenwade House - with many other couples in similar situations.
"We're absolutely heartbroken. To think everything was sorted 18 months ago. In six months time it's the wedding and we haven't got anything."
The couple also said they had discussed their wedding with the venue's owners in November but hadn't been warned about any issues.
"The first thing we heard was just an email and now it's all gone," they said.
