Former Norwich City striker Simeon Jackson has joined League Two strugglers Stevenage on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The Canadian was a free agent after leaving Scottish club Kilmarnock last month.

Jackson helped Norwich gain promotion to the Premier League in 2011 - most famously scoring the winning goal in the penultimate game of the season at Portsmouth to seal the Canaries' place in the top flight.

The 32-year-old will now link up with Stevenage for the rest of the campaign as they look to avoid relegation from the Football League.
