A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a mother-of-two who was stabbed 10 times in Newmarket.
Charles Jessop, 28, is accused of killing 33-year-old Clare Nash at a flat in Brickfields Avenue on January 16.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, Ms Nash died at the scene.
The cause of her death has been recorded as "compression of the neck and stab wounds".
Mr Jessop spoke only to confirm his name as he appeared before Ipswich Crown Court.
He's due to go on trial on July 13.
