It's a world famous view that adorns postcards and guidebooks but is now undergoing a radical makeover.

The Great Lawn at King's College Chapel is undergoing a huge transformation.

Some of the pristine lawn has gone and instead is being replaced with wildflower seeds to create a meadow and a haven for wildlife.

By the time we get through to May, June, July time it will look like a glorious hay meadow. So we'll have blue cornflowers, we'll have the red poppies, we'll have the yellow corn marigolds, the ox-eye daisies then everything else in between. It's going to be a riot of colour!

Kings College is tagged in 10 thousand photographs on Instagram alone. So its decision to put biodiversity first sends a strong message.

"It's actually ringing the changes, showing that even the most traditional views and iconic views can change to fit with our concerns and fears for the future."
