Anglia Late Edition is the regional politics programme for the East of England presented by political correspondent EmmaHutchinson.

The Prime Minister says it is time the country took “off its Clark Kent spectacles”, leapt into the phone booth and emerge “as the supercharged champion” of free trade. But an expert in European politics suggests that may not be as easy as it sounds.

Anglia Late Edition discusses the next stage of the Brexit saga, plus in the wake of an horrific racist poster being put up in Norwich on Brexit departure day, asks what can be done to heal the country’s divisions, and with faith in democracy at an all-time low, can the three main parties restore our belief in politics?

Emma Hutchinson was joined in the studio by three politicians from the Anglia region:

· Anthony Browne MP, South Cambridgeshire (Con)

· Rachel Hopkins MP, Luton South (Lab)

· Cllr Stephen Robinson (Lib Dem, Chelmsford City Council)
