There was no shock result for Ipswich Town as they were dispatched from the Women's FA Cup 5th Round by holders Manchester City.

The Blues - the lowest ranked team left in the competition - were 3-0 down at half-time but they were swept away by City after the break.

Three of City's players - Pauline Bremer, Georgia Stanway and Jess Park each scored hat-tricks, with Laura Coombs also getting on the scoresheet.

Ipswich are leaders of the National League Division One South-East - the fourth tier of English Football in the women's game.

But they couldn't contend with the Sky Blues who fielded a host of internationals in their starting line-up at City's Academy Stadium, including Norfolk striker Lauren Hemp.
