A couple from Northamptonshire who tested positive for Coronavirus on a cruise ship in Japan say they're still waiting to get hospital treatment.
There had been some confusion for David and Sally Able yesterday after their initial diagnosis. A 'communication error' meant they they thought there could be a chance they did NOT have the virus. But today David posted on YouTube that an English speaking doctor had confirmed that their positive test was correct.
As of this morning (Wednesday 19th Feb) both were still onboard the Diamond Princess, where more than 500 people have already caught the illness. The Government confirmed it's working to organise a flight back to the UK for all British nationals on board.
Mr and Mrs Abel have been told when they leave the ship they will go to a hostel for a few days until a hospital bed becomes available.
