A teenager has been jailed for eight and a half years for stabbing two men as they walked in Chelmsford town centre.
Harry Peirson, 19, of New Writtle Street, Chelmsford stabbed two men following an argument close to Odeon cinema on 8 August 2019.
One of the men was stabbed twice in the back, once in the elbow and once in the armpit and the other received a single stab wound to the back. Both men managed to run off.
Peirson walked off with his accomplice, David O’Brien, 20, of Baker Street, Chelmsford, and police believe the knife was then thrown into water. Peirson was jailed for two counts of wounding with intent and will serve his time in a young offender's institution.
CCTV revealed that Peirson and O’Brien were involved into an altercation with one of the victims earlier that day.
O’Brien received six weeks for assault by beating at Chelmsford Crown Court on 13 November 2019.
