Milton Keynes hospital records seven deaths with Covid-19 in one week

Milton Keynes University Hospital says seven patients have died after catching Covid-19 in one week.

The patients were aged between 60 and 90, and died between Wednesday March 18 and Thursday March 26. They all tested positive for Covid-19.

"Our thoughts and condolences remain with their families and loved ones at this difficult time."

A further patient in their 70s has died at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow after testing positive.

It comes as the deaths in the UK reached 1019.

Meanwhile, two more people have died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

Caroline Shaw, Chief Executive for QEH, said: “We can confirm that sadly, a female patient in her late 60s and a male patient aged in his 70s who both had underlying health conditions passed away at QEH on Thursday 26 March.

"They had tested positive for COVID-19. Our thoughts and condolences remain with the families and loved ones at this difficult time.”
