It might be the start of British summer time today, but the weather's had more of a wintry feel across the East of England.

Hail and flurries of snow could be seen across the region after enjoying a period of warm weather.

People in some eastern areas woke up to wintry showers on Sunday morning.

This Evening and Tonight:

Mostly cloudy this evening and overnight with showers continuing, perhaps merging into longer spells of rain at times in Norfolk towards dawn. A grass frost in places well inland, but remaining breezy near the coast. Minimum temperature 0 deg C (32 deg F).

Monday:

Generally rather cloudy with showers, perhaps with some heavier bursts developing at times. Breezy near the coast. Showers dying away overnight with clear spells developing. Maximum temperature 10 deg C (50 deg F).

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Mostly cloudy on Tuesday and Wednesday with a few light showers in places. Becoming cloudy with strong winds on Thursday with showers at times. Temperatures remaining on the chilly side.
