Seven patients have died of coronavirus in four days at the Mid Essex Hospital Trust.

The trust runs Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.

Records released show one patient died on the 23rd March, two on the 24th, three on the 26th and one on the 27th.

Single deaths were also reported at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital, the James Paget at Gorleston, Addenbrooke's in Cambridge and at the NW Anglia Trust, which runs Hinchingbrooke, Peterborough City and Stamford and Rutland hospitals.
