Police are treating a hit and run crash in Harwich that left a motorcyclist dead as murder.
Officers were called to Marine Parade at around 2.45pm, on Wednesday 15 April after a motorbike and a BMW collided.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was fatally injured in the crash.
Detectives say they now believe that this was a targeted incident and they're treating it as murder.
Two men were seen leaving the scene and are thought to have been in the BMW.
A pedestrian, a woman in her 80s, was also hurt in the incident and taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or has CCTV or dash cam footage, or any other information about the incident or what led up to it to come forward.
