The hunt continues for the winner of a £1 million National Lottery prize which remains unclaimed six weeks after the draw.

The winning ticket was bought in the borough of Bedford and matched five main numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on March 14.

The winning numbers on that date were 07, 22, 30, 38, 42, 47 and the bonus ball was 14.

The lucky ticket-holder has until September 10 to claim their prize.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at the National Lottery, said: "While we are all trying to do the right thing by staying indoors at the moment, it's a good opportunity to dig out and check those old lottery tickets - a five-minute check might just unearth a fortune.

During lockdown, the National Lottery is encouraging people to check their tickets online and to only buy a ticket at a shop if they are already there for an essential shop.

Anyone who thinks they have the winning ticket should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 to claim.
