Two men arrested on suspicion of murder after body found in Wisbech

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man's body was discovered in a Cambridgeshire town.

The victim is believed to be a 28-year-old man from Wisbech, but police said he has not yet been formally identified.

A post-mortem examination concluded the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Two men, aged 24 and 27 - both from the town, have been taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station.

“This man was subjected to a brutal assault and we have a team of detectives dedicated to bringing the person, or people, responsible to justice.
