Two men have been arrested after a man was shot last night in Suffolk.

Police were called to Woolpit Business Park just before midnight last night and found a 27-year-old man had been shot in the chest.

Paramedics took him to Addenbrooke's Hospital for treatment. Police say his injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

A 56-year-old man from Woolpit and a 42-year-old man from Stowmarket have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and taken to Bury St Edmunds investigation centre for questioning.

Suffolk police believe the men arrested were shooting rabbits on farmland nearby.
