Beckham's message of support for Hertfordshire girl's sponsored bike rides

A five-year-old girl from Hertfordshire has received a personal message of support from David Beckham for her sponsored bike rides in lockdown.

Betty-Leigh Allinson is raising money for a local hospice during the pandemic by cycling a mile every day.

Her campaign's got the backing of football clubs who are sending her shirts to wear during each day's ride.

Betty-Leigh's already been presented with an Arsenal shirt - her grandad used to play for the gunners. She's videoed her thanks to the club.

Now she's got the support of one of the most famous ex-footballers, David Beckham himself.
