Woman airlifted to hospital after beach rescue in Norfolk

A woman is seriously ill in hospital after emergency services launched a rescue operation on Overstrand beach near Cromer in Norfolk.
The East of England air ambulance was called to the scene along with the police and the RNLI lifeboat from Cromer.
The woman was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital.
If follows the deaths of three of people in water-related incidents in the past few days in the Anglia region as temperatures soared in the current heatwave.
