Man accused of quadruple murder in court

Chinese businessman Anxiang Du appeared at Northampton Crown Court today accused of murdering of murdering four members of the same family in Northampton two years ago.

A fifty four year old businessman accused of killing a family of four in Northampton on the royal wedding day two years ago appeared before the town's Crown Court today.

Anxiang Du is accused of stabbing to death Jifeng ‘Jeff’ Ding, his wife Helen Chui, and their two daughters, Xing, aged 18, and Alice, aged 12, at their home in Wootton on April 29, 2011.

Du sat in the dock flanked by five court officers and spoke only to confirm his name.The court heard no pleas could be entered as tests are still being carried out on Du. The case was put back until October with a trial date set for November.
