Extra staff at Distribution Centre for "Cyber Monday"
Distribution Centres across the east have taken on extra workers to cope with the demands of "Cyber Monday".
It's expected to be the busiest day of the year for online shopping. Both Amazon in Milton Keynes and Argos in Basildon have braced themselves for the busiest time of the year.

Distribution centre takes on extra staff for "Cyber Monday"
Distribution centres in our region have hired in hundreds of extra staff members to cope with the demands of "Cyber Monday".
Argos, which has a distribution centre in Basildon, Essex, says the company will move hundreds of thousands of products today.

Colchester tops list for most online shoppers
According to new figures from the Royal Mail, Colchester is the town that tops the charts for online shopping, as "Cyber Monday" continues.
The busiest day of the year for online shopping.
Royal Mail has revealed the top ten places where people choose to shop on the internet rather than the high street.
Also in the top ten in the east, are Norwich in 4th place, Chelmsford in 7th and Bedford in 10th place.
Nick Landon, Managing Director of Royal Mail Parcels, said. "Online shopping is now such a key part of the Christmas shopping experience....We encourage people to post their Christmas cards and order their presents online early, to help us spread the workload during the busy festive period."

Second Class - Wednesday 18th December

Distribution centres in east ready for "Cyber Monday"
Distribution centres across East Anglia are ready for what is expected to be the busiest online shopping day of the year.
Amazon, which has a distribution hub in Milton Keynes and Argos which has a distribution centre in Basildon, have hired in extra staff to cope with the demand.
"Cyber Monday" is expected to peak around 6pm tonight, as people start shopping after work.
Argos, has estimated there will be more than 3 million visits to its website and apps today, with as many as 4,700 visits per minute.
