Man who died in crash close to Lakenheath Village confirmed as Airman stationed at RAF Mildenhall.

An airman stationed at RAF Mildenhall was fatally injured in an accident this morning on B1112 between Eriswell and Lakenheath Village.

Suffolk Constabulary is currently investigating. We will release more information as it is available.

Man dies in Lakenheath serious crash

A man has died following a serious road traffic collision in Lakenheath this morning, Tuesday 7 June.

Emergency services were called at 6.30am to reports of a three vehicle crash on the B1112. A man driving one of the vehicles died at the scene.

Any witnesses are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101, quoting reference CAD 36 of 7 June.


Warning to drivers as emergency services attend serious collision in Lakenheath

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision on Lancewood Walk, Lakenheath in Suffolk.

Officers were called at around 6.30am today to reports of a collision between three vehicles.

Police, ambulance service and fire service are in attendance. The road at the junction of A1065 and B1112 is closed. Also, the A1101 towards Eriswell at Sparks Farm is closed.
