Cyclists have set off on a journey to every rugby club in Norfolk to raise money for the Wooden Spoon charity.
From this morning until Sunday afternoon riders will be travelling around 320 miles from club to club, camping out on the pitches before continuing their journey the next day.
Some of the UK’s top rugby players have wished the riders of Club Together the best ahead of the ride.
They include Elliot Daly Joe Launchbury, and Welsh star Adam Jones. Former England star Phil Vickery is spending today with the cyclists.
The event had aimed to raise £50,000 but has already more than doubled that target so reaching more than £110,000.
All funds raised will be donated to special needs charities in Norfolk, with 50per cent going to Wooden Spoon, the Children’s Charity of Rugby which use the money on projects in Norfolk.

Cycling enthusiasts and rugby fans are joining forces to raise money for local charities by cycling over 320 miles and visiting every rugby club in Norfolk next month.
The three-day event will see half the money raised going to children’s rugby charity Wooden Spoon, the rest will go to charities chosen by the rugby clubs. All of the money will go to good causes in the county.
The ‘Club Together 2017’ event has three core aims, to raise a life changing amount of money for community based charities , create friendship and foster camaraderie across the Norfolk rugby community and promote healthy lifestyles.
90 riders have already signed up for the event.
The initial target was £50k but support has been overwhelming and it is now hoped the ride will raise £100k. It takes place from the 8th to 10th September.
