A police dog stabbed while investigating a robbery in Stevenage has received an award for bravery.
Eight-year-old Finn had to undergo four hours of surgery last October - and his survival inspired a campaign that created tougher sentences for attacks on police animals.
He's now enjoying a well-deserved retirement and a bit of attention. But today he was at the House of Lords alongside his handler PC Dave Wardell to receive his animal of the year award from the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
